Betsy Mize Currie

I was born in 1956 in Saigon, and grew up overseas (in North Africa and the Middle East, mostly). I went to high school and college in New England and graduate school, in art history, in New York City. My husband and I and our two sons moved to the West Coast in 1989 and I now reside in the Pacific Northwest.

I have been an artist ever since I was little girl. I work almost every day in my studio or in my gardens.

I am a magpie for color. And I believe in the power of beauty and color to nourish us.
